Tomorrow is Be a Hero for Babies Day!

I recently received an email from the March of Dimes, and apparently tomorrow (June 7) is Be a Hero for Babies Day. As just about anyone who knows me will know how close this is to my heart. If it weren’t for the doctors at Providence and the research the March of Dimes conducts, Kieran and many other babies we met in the NICU may not be here today. So, please, if you can help, please do! I’ve attached the email I received. If that doesn’t work, go here to donate, volunteer, anything! As you can see in the email, Farmers Insurance will match every dollar donated, so that’s even more money to help fight prematurity!

Oh, and if you want to donate in honor or in memory of someone you know, it is possible on their site.

HELP US RAISE $2 MILLION IN ONE DAY!
June 7th is “Be a Hero for Babies” Day.

Dear Friend,

Be a hero! Tomorrow, June 7th, is Be a Hero for Babies Day. Please join the thousands of heroes who are helping us raise $2 million in ONE day to help fight premature birth. And, best of all, Farmers will match every dollar donated by all heroes like you.*

Every little bit helps, especially now when every donation counts twice.

Help us get a head start…

Thanks for your support,

March of Dimes

If you would like to mail your donation, you can print this
e-mail and mail it with a check made out to March of Dimes, to:

March of Dimes
1275 Mamaroneck Avenue
White Plains, NY 10605

Attn: Be a Hero for Babies Day

*up to $250,000

(Also, in November is Prematurity Awareness Day, so I’ll be mentioning that in the next few months. Unfortunately, I didn’t find out about the WalkAmerica scheduled for Fairbanks until the week AFTER it occurred, so be sure to look for information on it next April/May!)

Thank you!
